With rapid advancements in technology and the construction sector increasingly embracing digitalisation, the pursuit of innovative and sustainable solutions has become more critical than ever. In response to these evolving trends, the Faculty of Civil Engineering & Technology (FKTA), Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP), is proud to organise the 1st International Conference on Future Civil Engineering, Construction and Technology (ConFECT2026). This inaugural conference provides a key platform for academics, researchers, and industry professionals to exchange ideas, explore breakthroughs, and discuss the future direction of the civil engineering discipline.
Carrying the theme “Connecting Ideas, Building the Future”, ConFECT2026 seeks to unite global perspectives and foster meaningful collaboration toward building a smarter and more resilient built environment. As digital technologies continue to redefine comfort, efficiency, and societal needs, the conference highlights the importance of collective effort and forward-thinking innovations in shaping a progressive future for all.
